Warranty Policy

Last updated: December 2025

1. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Warranty Policy shall exclude, restrict, or modify any consumer rights or remedies provided under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 (Malaysia) or any other applicable written law. Consumers may be entitled to additional rights and remedies under the CPA 1999 which exist independently of any manufacturer's warranty.

2. Scope of Warranty

All home and kitchen electrical appliances sold by KT KITCHEN HUB SDN BHD ("the Company") that are stated to be under warranty are covered solely and exclusively by the Manufacturer's Warranty. The warranty period, scope, coverage, and applicable terms and conditions shall be determined and imposed by the respective manufacturer or supplier.

3. Role of the Company

KT KITCHEN HUB SDN BHD acts strictly as a retail seller. The Company does not provide any separate or additional warranty, whether express or implied, beyond those required under the CPA 1999. All warranty services, including inspection, repair, replacement, or determination of defects, shall be carried out and decided exclusively by the manufacturer or its authorized service center(s) only.

4. Conditions for Warranty Claims

Without prejudice to the consumer's statutory rights under the CPA 1999, any claim made under a manufacturer's warranty shall be subject to the customer's full compliance with all terms and conditions prescribed by the respective manufacturer or supplier, including but not limited to:

  • Presentation of valid proof of purchase issued by the Company
  • Submission of a valid warranty card and/or proof of warranty registration, where required
  • Proper installation, use, and maintenance of the product strictly in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions

Non-compliance with the manufacturer's terms and conditions may result in rejection of the warranty claim by the manufacturer.

5. Exclusions under Manufacturer's Warranty

Unless expressly stated otherwise by the manufacturer, the manufacturer's warranty shall not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidental damage
  • Improper installation or use inconsistent with manufacturer specifications
  • Repairs, alterations, or modifications performed by unauthorized persons
  • Damage arising from power surge, voltage fluctuation, water, fire, natural disasters, or other external causes
  • Consumable or accessory items

These exclusions shall not affect any non-excludable rights under the CPA 1999.

6. Warranty Claim Process

Customers may submit warranty claims directly to the manufacturer's authorized service centers. Any assistance provided by KT KITCHEN HUB SDN BHD in facilitating communication or coordination shall be provided on a goodwill basis only and shall not constitute acceptance of liability or responsibility for the outcome of the claim.

7. Limitation of Liability

Subject always to the CPA 1999 and to the fullest extent permitted by law, KT KITCHEN HUB SDN BHD shall not be liable for:

  • Any decision, delay, rejection, or outcome of warranty claims determined by the manufacturer
  • Any loss of use, inconvenience, or business interruption
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage

8. Governing Law

This Warranty Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, including the Consumer Protection Act 1999.

9. Reservation of Rights

KT KITCHEN HUB SDN BHD reserves the right to amend or update this Warranty Policy from time to time, subject always to compliance with applicable laws and statutory consumer protections.
